Balls to the Wall — A Props-Based Movement Workshop
This is where we take all those birth balls and peanut balls you’ve seen…and actually use them.
Balls to the Wall is a hands-on, movement-focused 1.5 hour workshop all about using props in labor to create space, support progress, and help your body do its thing. No guessing, no awkward “what do I do with this?”—you’ll actually practice it.
What we focus on:
Positioning
How to use birth balls and peanut balls in ways that actually make a difference.
Movement
Small shifts, big circles, asymmetry—all the ways to keep things moving.
Space
Using props to open different levels of the pelvis and support descent.
Epidural Support
Partners learn how to use positioning and peanut balls to help passively open the pelvis during an epidural—because movement still matters in bed.
What to expect:
- Hands-on practice with birth balls + peanut balls
- Real-life positions you can use in labor
- Partner-supported setup + adjustments
- Simple, effective ways to create space
- Plenty of time to try things and feel what works
This isn’t about having the tools—it’s about knowing how to use them.
