Get out of your head. Get into your body.
Bare Birth is not a full birth class. It's the part most birth classes barely touch: the body.
Participants will:
- Know how you and your baby are working together in labor
- Practice productive labor positions, movement, and hands-on labor support
- Build confidence through moving, not memorizing
- Leave knowing how to breathe, move, sway, lean and support when things get intense
Comprehensive Classes Answer
- What are the stages of labor & possible variations?
- What are some effective labor & birth positions?
- What medications & medical interventions exist?
- How do I make the best decisions for me during birth?
Bare Birth Answers
- Why is harnessing my breath so helpful?
- How do you become a grounded support person during labor?
- How can I practice the rhythms of labor and feel comfortable doing it?
- What do we do when things get intense, messy & primal?

Meet Amanda
I got tired of teaching birth classes that looked nothing like labor.
After more than two decades of teaching childbirth education, I started wondering if there was a better way.
Not a better way to give birth.
A better way to prepare for it.
Because labor isn't a slideshow.
Birth happens in a body, not a PowerPoint.
I've learned that confidence doesn't come from collecting information. It comes from putting it into motion.
That's why I created Bare Birth.
A little less lecture. A little more real life.
Call me crazy, but I think a physical event deserves physical preparation.
Because birth is unpredictable.
But feeling prepared doesn't have to be.
